  Advice Please! Repost from Marie Does anyone have any experience seeing an osteopath? I have always seen naturopathic drs and paid out of pocket but apparently our insurance covers osteopathic drs. What's the difference between an osteopath and a naturopath? TIA

  My internist has an MD (medical doctor), but my rheumatologist is a DO (osteopathic doctor). I asked my MD what is the difference and he says a DO has gone through the same training as an MD.
