  Here it is. Matt's number is 414-455-3304 A Story About an Honest Mechanic. I know, it's not quite Bay View, but just south in St. Francis. I've been driving around my Escalade for a few days with a slight noise/vibration on the front drivers side. It got bad enough that I took it to MT Auto on Kansas St. I've dealt with Matt before so I trust him. I got a call from Matt and braced myself, expecting either a bad wheel bearing or bad CV joint on the half shaft (the drive shaft between the transmission and the wheel hub). Matt said "No charge, it was loose lug nuts". Now as many of you know, he could have easily made up a story about some expensive repair, but he didn't, he was once again, honest with me. Yes, he could have taken my money (and he will, I'm giving him $50 whether he wants it or not) and made a quick buck but he was honest with me and let me tell you, honesty will get you my business forever. One of his employees said "Yes, we want your money, but are willing to get it over a lifetime". That's a great business motto.

  MT Auto Repair, 4417 S. Kansas (just off Whitnall and east of Clement - near the airport), 414-455-3304. I needed an oil change and was referred here. I received great service, friendly staff, the price was good and they were quick. They not only changed my oil but checked all the fluids and did a visual inspection of my car and checked my tires. I was impressed and will be going back! It's hard to find a full service station that's willing to do oil changes. They were happy to help.
