  http://2014.merida-bikes.com/.../big-nine-40-md-2116.html based on your bike, the default fork is 100 mm. 120 mm naman usually max ng xc ht frame, pero for peace of mind, better ask the manufacturer for their recommended to maximize the frame geometry.
