Hey guys my new thoroughbred is doing some strange things that make me think Ulcers, just wondering what natural things you can give to help. I am looking into some Omega Alpha products and will have the vet take a look but any suggestions?

1 cup am and pm. As others have said there are still many other factors you should consider, and have your horse evaluated by your vet. Could be ulcers but could also be some other type of pain manifesting in weird ways. The aloe can't hurt to try though. It coats the lining of their stomach to reduce the pain created by the acid. Keeping hay in front of him at all times is also very important. This is a great article to read if you'd like complete info about ulcers, omeprazole and other ideas for natural treatments http://www.lunatunesfreestyles.com/horse_ulcers.htm
A good friend has had GREAT results with the diet attached -- after her mare's ulcers had been treated wtih Gastroguard. http://www.lunatunesfreestyles.com/horse_ulcers.htm
Does anyone know of any freestyle clinics happening in central texas in 2014? I've heard there may be one in Houston coming up, but can't find any info. Thanks for any help you can provide.
