  Pulling back the foreskin is not recommended. For most children the foreskin does not retract until 10 years age or older. A prepubescent child has no need for foreskin retraction. At this age (three) the foreskin is mostly fused to the glans. Pulling it bact causes tears and is excrucistingly painful for the boy. Until your child has finished puberty there is no need to clean under it. At this stage it is naturally self cleansing. You wouldn't pry open a baby girl's vagina, rip the hymen and forcibly douche her. Same principal applies with baby boys. All you need to do is clean the outside of the penis like you would a finger. Leave the inside of his penis alone. When he is old enough you will need to instruct him to pull himself back and rinse only with clean water. This should be part of your birds and bees talk when he is 13 to 15 years old. The glans is supposed to be an internal organ like the eye is. The eye is self cleaning too. I am going through a court battle right now in Tucson trying to keep my five year old son from being circumcised for non medical reasons. My attorney says I need an expert to testify, a pediatric urologist. I've called several local ones but they're all happy to mutilate young boys for money. My witness can testify telephonically so they don't need to be local. I was wondering if you could pose this to the group and see if anyone knows if any experts who would be willing to testify against non-therapeutic circumcision, preferably for minimal compensation... please and thank you, my son needs you!"
