  Cassi S. wrote: Took my 6 month old lab mix to be neutered at spay me clinic. They had asked if a student could do the surgery, to which i declined. A regular vet was to do the surgery. We dropped my pup off without issue. Upon pickup, he was scared to the point of shaking, and smelled like rotten fish, feces and urine. The girl who initially brought him out was a dog walker or something. I kept asking why he smells like this, to which I was told "I dont know, I didnt see any pee or poop in his cage" I told her to smell him. She put her face by him through the mask, and states she didn't know why. I told her to get her manager. Then someone else came out and said he was let out once today, and had no pee or poop in his cage, which i know is a lie because he ALWAYS comes back in his cage and poops immediately. I also told her to smell him, she stated she didn't smell anything. I told her you really don't smell rotten fish on him? Do you think i brought him like this? I told her to get her manager. A few minutes later a redheaded vet came out talking into a walkie talkie, saying she had to leave surgery to be out here. I asked her how long he was neglected in this kennel, because it was obviously long enough to pee himself, as he smelled like urine and feces. Nobody could answer why he smelled like rotton fish. The vet told me to get him out of the car because she would not reach her head in to smell him. She said he smells like a dog. I told her "do all of your dogs at home smell like this? Do you send all the animals home covered in filth?" She started stumbling over her words and just denying that anything happened to him for him to wreak and be scared to death to the point of standing gon my backseat shaking. Hypnos is not a scared puppy. I asked her also if she thinks I brought him there this way, and she was calling us liars? At which point I told her i am calling the veterinary board. At this point she just turned and walked away mid sentence, she did not give her name after it was asked several times, her only reply is "you're calling the board" and ran in the building. The only reason I found a name was by reading his prescription on his pain pills. Complaint has been filed with the veterinary licensing board. We had to drive with the windows on the way home because he smelled so bad. When we got home, he had to have a through sponge bath to just be able to function. Our coats also had to go in the wash. NEVER TAKE TOUR PETS THERE. I have also read several other horror story reviews of this place after the fact. Please keep your furbabies safe

They should contact you with resources locally, I know they used to give out vouchers for the spay/neuter program that countryside offers if you are not a Racine resident.   The number is (608)224-1400. They are out of Madison and they will pick your cat up and bring them back or they also have one in Milwaukee where I just went and dropped them off and picked them up the same night
