  Definitely educate yourself on safe use before anything Accredited schools can be found at Naha.org I'd personally stay away from the mlms Education and Safety is #1 There's more to it than just "selling" Interactions with drugs, conditions, allergies, sensitivities, etc etc

  Many, if not most, massage or spa establishments offering aromatherapy massage are not properly educated about essential oil safety. One drop of essential oil is equivalent to a large volume of plant material. EOs are extremely potent and I've seen man y therapists throwing them around like they're cooking oil. This can bring on asthma attacks, skin reactions and, for the therapists themselves, actually sensitize them to the EOs through overexposure, creating a lasting sensitivity to the oil. Aromatherapy education is the responsibility of anyone who plans to use EOs with clients, and MLM EO companies are not the place to obtain this education (another common mistake). NAHA is a reputable trade association for aromatherapists here in the US and has a directory of approved schools - there are other organizations but this is one that I typically recommend. https://www.naha.org/

  There is no school certification. If schools meet suggested requirements and pay they are listed on NAHA.org and Alliance. shila i suggestyou start there, then ask for others, just to save a lot of time.

  Essential oils have contraindications and need to be used responsibly. You should not add them to your practice until you've gotten proper education. Preferably education not by a company trying to sell you their product. Naha.org or Robert Tissarand are the best places to start.

  I have taken many trainings. They key is are they all batch tested for purity. Every batch? All the mlm ones- do terra and yl are not.
