  http://sacanimal.org They have a voucher program for both dogs and cats, $10-$15 for spay/neuter and rabies. Income and location based. From my experience, vouchers arrive within a week. I love their program

  Do you know anyone who can remove a mother cat and kittens from a basement? I have an elderly patient who has kittens and a mother cat in her basement. The cat is a stray and got into her basement/ under house area and she is unable to get them out. She called the city and they were unable to help and did not give her any referrals to places who could help.

  Hi Jessica, If the mother is not friendly (sounds like she might be feral?), we do have a trap loan program: http://www.sspca.org/program-services/feralcommunity-cat-program/trap-loan-program/ You can also try getting on the Sacramento Area Animal Coalition website (www.sacanimal.org) to see if a member of the public is willing to come help catch the mom and kittens!

  also, SPAY DAY is this Sunday. All female cat appts are booked, but if anyone has OWNED MALE cats and makes 35,000 or less, it's $15.00 per cat, and includes microchip and vaccines. www.sacanimal.org

  The sacanimal.org will send you a voucher to get fixed for like 15 bucks. Shots, orangeval. Pet hospital i think its like 20 bucks for the fvrcp vaccine. Call and ask. Not a bad price at all.
