  That's the closest place. Another cool place is Pratt Art Center, in Seattle. They also teach welding, stone cutting and a lot if other things that require a lot of space and equipment. http://www.pratt.org/

  Hello Seattle! My significant other and I have moved to Seattle and then I took off on an internship. When I get back home, I'm hoping to explore local makers spaces and potentially join one. Can anyone give me the low down on the local scene? I'm looking for something with both a wood shop and metal fabrication. Are there any spaces with enough room for a cargo van project? Is there much of a makers scene even going on?
