  I hope that the mom refers to early literacy (phonological awareness etc.), and not to reading, though it's still tooooooooooo early for that too! There are so many games for that that are multisensory and age appropriate, why teach at such a young age ? They have so many years of schooling ahead of them... try this source : The Logic of English ( http://www.facebook.com/TheLogicOfEnglish ), for native speakers and readers of Engish, or at Wizkids store, the preschool phonics games http://www.wizkids.co.il/
