Does anyone know who can supply and cut reclaimed railway sleepers or similar sized wood? Needs to be reclaimed/old, not new.
I need different sized ends for a border rather than the whole thing if possible.
Thanks IA.
Andy S. replied:
Old Holts at the side of Harwood Golf Club sell and deliver new and reclaimed sleepers. I don't think they cut them to size though. How many pieces/cuts do you need as its usually better cutting stuff on site rather than buying pre cut. They can be cut with a chainsaw ( or by hand but it takes a while). I am mad busy getting a last lawn cut in for customers for next couple of weeks but might be able to help after that. www.grassrootsgardens.co.uk
Are there any gardeners local to Whittingham Drive who are available for a lawn mow and a little tidy up of leaves?
Andy S. replied:
I live on the estate and can have a look tomorrow if you message or text (07788914494) your address but it will be next week before I could do it. www.grassrootsgardens.co.uk
Looking for someone to weed this. Based on Bolton street. Just been let down by gardener.
Andy S. replied:
I wouldn't bother weeding between the flags you will never get the roots out. Looking at the photos you would be better off spraying it with weedkiller. I am mad busy at the moment or I would come and have a look. Grassrootsgardens.co.uk
Does anyone know a good, reliable gardener who could come and do a one off tidy up of our front and back gardens, with the possibility of it becoming more regular? Thanks
Andy S. replied:
I am really busy for the next couple of weeks but if you're not desperate to get it done I can have a look later this week if you want. www. grassrootsgardens.co.uk
Could anyone recommend a good reliable gardener in Ramsbottom please?
Andy S. replied:
I am really busy at the moment but will have some time available to take on a couple more gardens in a couple of weeks if you want me to have a look. www.grassrootsgardens.co.uk
Hi I have a Japanese Knottweed type situation going on and would like it removed before spring kicks in, does anyone have any recommendations?
Cheers
Andy S. replied:
If it was me I would wait until the frosts have finished and cut it right back. When it grows back you can keep it trimmed to the size you want and when it attracts loads of butterflies you might just find you like it. If you want someone to do it for you my details are below. www.grassrootsgardens.co.uk
