Now that we know my area is safe and the winds have died down, my husband and I are looking to help how we can. Does anyone know of animal shelters in need of temporary fosters for displaced pets?

Call the Humane Society of Ventura County, SPARC in Santa Paula, or Ventura County Animal Services in Camarillo.
Does anyone know of local low cost places to get pet vaccinations and to get pets fixed?
Thank you!

The Humane Society has low-cost vaccinations the first and third Saturdays of every month. No appt. necessary, just show up btw 10 a.m.-1 p.m. They also have low cost spay and neuter. Call (805) 646-6505 or (805) 656-5031.

The Humane Society DOES spay/neuter feral cats. They have to be brought in a trap. You can call the shelter at 805 646-6505 for more information. Also, Animal Services has a barn cat program: http://www.vcas.us/programs-services/barn-cat-program
Does anyone know of a low-cost or free dog-spaying location?

He was so matted beyond anything I've ever seen. This is his new haircut and cute. Call 805-646-6505 or 656-5031. Good Luck and have patience. They're scared..... George chased his fanny for 3 day's - Not funny but he was looking for the rest of him. Happy Tails!
I heard a female Pug was brought to the Ojai animal shelter last week, does anyone have any information about her or the shelter? Please let me know if she is available for adoption. Thanks

You can see her photo on their website humanesocietyvc.org. Do you think she might be your dog?
