A Vintage Affair
About us
We are a small family run business who are passionate about our product and providing excellent service. Both my husband and I each have over 20 years experience working in customer service and pride ourselves on delivering excellence to our customers. We cater for any function that requires a vintage look or feel. Our Facebook page is in the process of being created, but please don't let that stop you from making any enquiries. So if you are getting married, having a baby shower, Christening, dinner party, afternoon tea with a friend/friends, or garden party, please give us call and let us help you.
We stock a wide range of china. For those looking to serve an afternoon tea style setting, we have the follow: over 200 tea cups, saucers and tea plates, a wide selection of teapots, coffee pots, creamers and sugar bowls, cakes/sandwich plates, glass cake stands/plates, along with tea spoons, cake forks, cake servers and 2/3 tiered cake plates. We have a selection of vintage linens, birdcages, tea light holders, bunting and glassware, to help set the look and feel of your event.
For those of you looking for a more formal setting, we have over 100 place settings of mismatched china, consisting of a dinner plate, dessert plate and bread & butter plate. We also have a selection of soup cups and saucers as well as dessert bowls. We have vintage cutlery to finish off each place setting. If required, we also have a selection of oval platters and covered vegetable terrines to dress the table. These can be used for serving the meal, or to decorate the table with floral decorations in/on. Again, we have glassware, bunting, a selection of vintage linens, vintage milk bottles - these can us used as centre pieces or as place cards (photos to follow), and tea light holders.
Added extras - if you're getting married and are looking for something to collect your cards in, why note a vintage suitcase, lined to coordinate with your colour scheme?
We have an ornate picture frame... show more that can be used as a seating plan for up to 14 tables. We used this as our own wedding recently, and it looked lovely.
If there is an added extra you're looking for to complete your vision that we don't have, let us know, and we may even be able to find it for you!
If you are having an outside event and require sound, we have a PA system for hire. My husband had been around technician for more years than he'll admit to, and would be able to set this up for you, and if required, provide music from yesteryear to complement your event.
I will shortly be able to offer a vintage candy cart for hire, along with all the glassware, sweets, scoops, old fashioned Salter sweetshop scales, and bags in a colour of your choice. More on this to follow very soon..
