  Dental assistance for someone who's on a fixed income. I have a friend who moved to AL from California and had an accident where his front teeth got busted out of his mouth and he's mentally challenged doesn't have access to paid dental care anymore or the means to really research it on his own and he doesn't really know what to do now. Does anyone have any suggestions I can give to him that can point in the right direction to get the help he needs? Thanks

At their previous location,( a different state), they had Medicaid and Foodstamps. They are not able to work, but were turned down by disability. They are 50 years old. They were turned down by Alabama Medicaid for health insurance, which they need desperately. I have only lived in Alabaster 2 years myself, and I am a patient at the Veterans Hospital so I am not familiar with the public healthcare system. Where can we go to find out what services are offered to people with $0 income in Shelby County that NEED health insurance? Thanks in advance!

Has a ruptured disk laying on her spinal cord making it flat.causing nerve damage .Who knows a Dr. or somebody that can help her, I'm desperate.
