  Does anyone know of any lawyers who are licensed in Connecticut? My friend's daughter, Arianna, is medically fragile, with a very rare disease called Gaucher's Type 2. The doctors want to institutionalize her, but when Arianna is in close quarters with many people simple colds nearly kill her. So it is in her best interest to stay at home with in-home nursing and my friend needs a pro bono lawyer who knows patients' rights. Please feel free to share with whomever you think might know someone who could help her.

  ADVICE NEEDED for Special Mom #psnm00688 I need help. We have been battling the district for my son to have a permanent 1 on 1 for almost a year. He needs consistent protective monitoring to ensure his safety and the safety of staff and other children. Tomorrow is my IEP, and it looks as if we may be denied the help my son requires to remain safe and under control at school. Does anyone know how to appeal a decision in California?
