  Need some recommendations. I'm starting the site selection for a group who would like to go to the Northeast in August 2015 for a conference (over a weekend). Basic needs: high-end property (4-5 stars), 10K+ sq ft ballroom, at least 500 sleeping rooms, golf course, family friendly, traveler-friendly location. We originally wanted Boston but all hotels are either too small or not available. This group loves the outdoors so location has to be ok in the August heat. Thanks for your assistance.

  Okay...then options are net yet exhausted.....good luck, lots of quality properties, in an out of all of the NE, sure you will find one that sits your needs. There might be some high end Conference Centers that will also satisfy this need. http://www.iacconline.org/
