  Plumber recommendations The master bathroom in my sink is currently very clogged and I'm looking for a plumber who does good work and preferably has a cheaper rate. I have already tried to fix this myself and had no good luck. I tried to use a manual snake after removing the pop-up and couldn't get it through the trap well. I unscrewed the trap and tried to snake it through the line after the trap and was just getting nowhere myself. So if anyone has anyone that is good with this sort of thing, I would appreciate it!

  I haven't needed one since I moved into my current house, but when we were in Fairway, I'd always call [A-1 Sewer & Septic](http://www.a-1 sewerandsepticservice.com/) for our plumbing needs. We had roots in our main line, so I had them out about once a year to take care of that. We even had a backup on a Friday or Saturday night, so they came out to clear the main line and it didn't cost anything extra than their normal rates. They have a couple [coupons/specials](http://www.a-1 sewerandsepticservice.com/Online-Specials.aspx) listed on their site, too, so that might save you some money.

  I never had my main line replaced at my old house in Fairway (thank God), but I had annual main line cleanouts done by [A-1 Sewer & Septic](http://www.a-1 sewerandsepticservice.com/). Their servicemen were friendly, respectful of my house and yard, and never charged me an after-hours fee when I had a backup on a Friday night. I'd recommend calling them for a quote.   I realized this had been asked before. I found it in my old emails. But in case anyone else needs a plumber recommendation, we used A-1 Plumbers 913-631-5201. They got here within an hour (we're in NKC) and got right to work. A.
