Hi, I've just taken voluntary redundancy (gulp!) and am planning on setting up a limited company in March when I leave my current job. Does anyone have any recommendations for:
1) a good local accountant; and
2) a good book on setting up your own business and basic accounting or bookkeeping (I'll definitely be using an accountant, but want to have a decent understanding of things too, especially record keeping)?
Also, if anyone has done this themselves, do you have any advice on doing this, or things you wish you'd known when you did it??
