Can anyone recommend a massage therapist in central ATX comfortable working on injured bodies? I need it kind of urgently.
Dan G. replied:
inhome.massage.com is where to get an in-home masseuse. Happy to recommend someone if that's a good route to go, Julie.
Jason S. replied:
( Julie , apparently massage . com tweaked it's business model. Originally, it was positioned as an "uber for massage"--in home massage just-in-time, ergo why I thought it would be a good option for you.) While that still might be an option, Mia Bennatt is a great therapist that can travel to you. If you're willing to travel South, I'd recommend Zen Well Thai Massage (chair or floor). If you're open to the latter, let me know and I'll put you in touch with the owner, Bethany.

Carrie Warner Williams at Massage Envy - not Central Austin, but she's amazing
Liz B. replied:
P.S. I have found that the therapists at Myo Massage are excellent with pain relief and in general. They don't jack up the prices like they do at a spa, and you are guaranteed a therapeutic session. I always just get the Myo Massage, their basic, and it is always good. Tara Switz White is exceptionally good, if you can ever book her.
Kay M. replied:
Yes!!!! Virginia Alvarado , James and Michelle Perez Hittner at Austin Massage Company.
Kay M. replied:
James fixed me when I was badly in need of fixing. They are clinical massage therapists, and work with everyone from elite athletes, musicians, computer folks to mere mortals like me. Been a loyal follower of owner Michelle Hittner for a decade.
