  This may be a long shot, but I have 4 impacted wisdom teeth that I have needed removed for awhile. It's to the point now where I can't take it anymore. I had health insurance to have the procedure done but then I got pregnant and couldn't go through. I lost my insurance very shortly after my daughter was born. I'm looking for a dentist that may be able to remove all 4 on a discounted rate and maybe with a payment plan?

  There is a dentist office down in Powder Springs that helps fiscally challenged persons and even does tooth removal every other weekend for a flat 100 dollar rate. It's called Grassroots Dental (www.grassrootsdental.org). The dentist that does the weekend tooth removal is named Dr. Brian Kinard. The number is 6783986548. They are really awesome people.

  In search of a CHEAP and RELIABLE dentist & Oral Surgeon. I just saved up enough money to get an exam and an x-ray done on my teeth. I have now found out that I need a root canal first, 5 cavities filled and one capped, and then get my two bottom wisdom teeth pulled, which are impacting my jaw.(No, my health insurance does not cover the wisdom teeth unless it was an “accident”) After getting my quotes together I am now looking as spending $1,300 for my root canal. $1,612 for my cavities and one cap and $2,300 for my two wisdom teeth pulled. For a grand total of $5,212. Dental insurance is crap and out of the question. I got told yesterday from a dental insurance agent that I would have to find a dentist up to 5 miles from my house just to receive “about” 25% discount. Anything out of that 5 miles radiance, I would have to pay in full. And that’s not including the Co-pays! $10 co pay for a cleaning. $25 co pay for cavity work & $35 co pay for oral surgery AND for every 15 minutes I was put under for the surgery, which will be another $35! And I was still going to get billed the full amount after insurance handled the “discount” and have to pay in full right then and there. I have applied for Care Credit and went for $2,300 just to at least get the root canal done ($1,300) and the expensive cavity done, which was about $1,000 alone. And I got denied for Care Credit. Fantastic. For a wife that has been struggling financially, lost a child, and works 2 jobs. I’m stuck at an impasse. Does anybody have any recommendations or any ideas on what I can do? If any of ya’ll have ever suffered tooth/jaw pain and headaches from this before, this you totally know my pain. What do I do???

  There are Dental assistance programs throughout Atlanta/Ga. I would visit these sites and call around. I have Humana dental insurance. Granted it doesn't pay for all of it, it helps. Try: gfcn.org Helpbycity.com Chcaustell.org Gadental.org For the time being, try coconut oil and tea tree oil.

  Call 678-398-6548 ... Community Health/Dental Clinic. Austell, GA They a couple Saturday's a month that they just pull teeth... but you can also make an appointment or just walk-in if you pm I will give you directions. btw...its normally $100 or less.
