Would like some ISP recommendations. Hello. My gf and I will be moving into our own place shortly and we've decided we don't need cable/TV, but we do need internet. It seems like Grande offers the best speeds but is there any significant downside to using them? Are there any other recommendations? We will be living just outside of 1604 on the northwest side if that matters. Thanks!

I know that the site doesn't look that awesome and I don't know where it compares but Rock Solid Internet is the 4 th largest ISP in Texas. Little known fact. Perhaps they are a good buy? http://www.getrsi.com
Looking for a good internet provider in Bandera/Pipe Creek area, any suggestions without dishing out an arm and a leg, Cricket is discontinuing their modem internet service. Thanks ahead for any help.

I agree with Whitney B Collazo - Rock Solid ( www.getrsi.com ) has been real good thus far, there is also Internet American ( http://www.internetamerica.com/ ) is good also. I have two co-workers that leave in Pipe Creek and they use IA for work purposes. And we are heavy users for work, so it must be good enough. PipeCreek servers up from PIPE to HELOTES, but RockSolid servers up from Hondo to Medina. I can't speak about IA, but Rock Solid is a good deal as there is not start up costs.
We recently upgraded to Hughes net gen 4 out here and the internet speed has been absolutely horrible. I was wondering if anyone out here has had any luck with other service providers?
