  Okay, is there a place in town here where I can change my address with the CRA? They have a very old address and I have tried for over a week to contact the CRA by phone but they are useless at answering and damn near impossible to contact!!! Sorry, just very very frustrated with them lol. So I may as well go into an office and wait a billion years there. At least I'd get to talk to someone! Thanks!

  Call 1-800-959-8281 If you get a busy tone hang up and redial right away. Do this until you get to the automated system. Once you hear the automated system press * and it will take you straight to an agent.

I am looking for some way to contact CRA because my tax refund is really late and the automated phone service will not give me any information. I've tried calling several different phone numbers but I am never able to get ahold of a human being. I've been waiting since Feb 17 so if anyone has any idea what I should do please let me know asap as I had planned to pay bills with my refund which are now coming close to being overdue.   1-800-959-8281 push 1 and then *. I JUST called and waited less than 2 minutes before reaching an agent to change my address. Super friendly and fast. I did need to redial 3 times before getting through though. Love the redial feature on my phone!

  Hi all, Could really use some advice. I attempted to do my taxes on turbo tax but it got confusing with entering all my t4a's in the different 105 boxes in the scholarship section. I made the assumption it was all calculated the same in that section since they were all numbered 105 and got to the end of the return where I got a warning saying I could be audited. I stopped right there and didn't submit it because clearly I don't know what I'm doing. I was thinking of going into H&R block to get my taxes done without the hassle but it appears they make students pay $99.99 for more complex returns. What makes a students return qualify as advanced, complex or premium return? Is there somewhere else that is affordable with a good reputation I can get it done? I just want it done CORRECTLY, and get the MAXIMUM return I am entitled to without paying an arm and a leg!

  Service Canada is unrelated to Revenue Canada. You can call the personal tax line at 1-800-959-8281 and have them send you a paper copy-this will tax 6-8 weeks. Or you can visit a tax preparers office who can have you sign an authorization form and access the information for you-this will be immediate. Or you can file your 2014 return so you have a current year assessment and get access to your my account that way-this should take about two weeks.
