I am in North Texas, where is the best place to get herd tested for CAE and do they need to be tested every 6 months like I have read? Can I get a kit online or do I need to go to my vet? Thanks for your help.

I use biotracking.com and if you send to the original testing facility (they now have a few more) its 4.00 for CAE. Same test used as WADDL but no accession fee!
I am going to do a blood draw for pregnancy testing on my Does, and I have never done it before. Do many people do these or does anyone have any alternate suggestions for testing? If all else fails I will call the vet!

biotracking's website - can get their red top tube kit or buy your own (i bought kit) and the closest lab is in Waupun, WI. all info is on website and friendly folks if you email also. http://www.biotracking.com/

Really easy to do and is the only thing we do. My wife is a vet tech so that helps a little bit but there are so many people that do them otherwise. I would recommend bio tracking to do the tests. Should not have to have a vet to do these ever.
Got a 5 year old goat pygmy/nubian/spanish mix down on her feet. Started in front foot. NO sign of infection or anything. I need a GOOD goat vet around Ft. Worth/Denton/Decatur/Weatherford Texas (I'm in Newark). Found a good one in Anna a couple years ago but it's over an hour and a half away. Anybody know of one closer?? Or any ideas what to do for her. She's getting where she gets down on her knees ALOT!

If you can take blood yourself, you can use biotracking.com to test for CAE.
