I recently had prints made from Medium Format images for the first time at Costco, and was surprised that even at 12x12" the print did not seem as sharp as it does on my screen. I've been really happy with them in the past for my digital work, and at 35mm it looks good, but for a 6x6 image its not quite right. Any recommendations on places that do good high resolution photo printing?
kb3pxr replied:I go to my local shop for color, but that isn't helpful for you. The Darkroom ([thedarkroom.com](https://thedarkroom.com)) also has a printing service. I've used them for B&W and they did very well, I assume their color prints would be of the same quality.

I know CVS and other outlets provide services, but it runs about $18-$20 a roll for processing. During our last house move, my gf and I found about 100 rolls of developed film and Advantex cartridges and the thought of paying $2000 for potentially useless negatives and pictures doesn't interest me. You send your film off to them and they process and scan it for you, then upload it onto a server so you can download it, then send your negatives back along with any prints you've ordered."
