  Thanks to everyone for the mobile mechanic recommendations, in the end my husband decided to risk driving it and popped it to Central garage and credit where credits due, they saw it yesterday and had it fixed by half 9 this morning. Pretty fantastic service if you ask me! Tip of the day: best not to drive a car with a snapped coil spring apparently haha
