HVAC Repair Recommendations Hello r/ottawa,
My AC just died and I was wondering if any of you know of an good HVAC repair company you can recommend. The warranty on the AC unit is no longer valid, so we'll need to contact a repair company. Any help or tips would be appreciated. Thanks!

I’ve always been happy and often recommend Phil from qualitybackinservice.com . Great guy, fair pricing, pays attention to details.
HVAC companies? I live in South Ottawa and if anyone has any recommendations on a reliable HVAC company I would appreciate it. Tips are also welcome this is my first home and I have no idea what I'm doing.

I'm a big fan of Robidoux Heating & Air Conditioning. Phil is a great guy, plays close attention to details, and has supported me through 2 homes, and some unique issues. He's patient and great at explaining how things work and what needs to be done. He also doesn't do stuff that doesn't need to be done and has always been honest and upfront with me. http://www.qualitybackinservice.com/ .
LF someone who can disconnect our AC and move it a few feet ASAP, the company we normally deal with is too busy and we have someone coming to fix a foundation crack next week!

Good day. Any recommendations for a central air conditioning technician? I checked the obvious - switches and breakers - and it simply won't turn on. I'm either missing something obvious or it's broken. Thanks in advance.

Just woke up to no heat in the house...no time to search old posts. Any recommendations on who to call that can be here quickly? It may be time for a new furnace
Anne Y. replied:
Not sure how quickly he could come (we've been lucky enough never to have that kid of emergency), but we really like Phil Robidoux. http://www.qualitybackinservice.com/ Good luck!
Looking for a heating company to help us figure out why our son's room is always freezing. Yes, I've looked in the vent to make sure there's nothing stuffed down there. :)
Katie H. replied:
Phil Robidoux - we had the same problem and Phil suggested adding a blower in the duct going to that room, to help force the air up (it is over the garage and the farthest room away from the furnace....and has a huge window...lots of odds against it...). We've had it installed for several years now and it has made a big difference. http://www.qualitybackinservice.com
