So I have found my worst fear in our attic. We recently found a brown recluse in our house and decided to spray and place out glue traps to see if there were more. I know they are common here but.... the glue traps in the attic have been out for about 2 weeks and when I went to check today I counted 18 on one! I called a couple of pest control companies and one suggested this was not an infestation and should be treated with regular insecticide. I have read these spiders are more active this time of year but to me this is more than worrisome. I have sprayed again, spread out diatomaceous earth, and placed double the glue traps. My next tool will be a flame thrower! Has anyone seen anything similar to this? Any suggestions on what to spray or use? Also, anyone have a recommendation for a pest control company they have had success with? Any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!!!
