  My son's BM is in December, so I have plenty of time. We've hired a caterer and there IS a dessert table as part of the package, but I also wanted to have a half sheet cake with a cake cutting ceremony. The caterer agreed, and agreed that one from Costco would be just great. Unfortunately, my son (and I) both want a carrot cake, but they no longer make carrot cake sheet cakes--only 10" rounds. So can anyone recommend a local (Gaithersburg MD) bakery that makes INEXPENSIVE carrot cakes? I'm already spending a ton on catering and this is just an "extra" so the budget is slim.
