  Hello everyone, I have a question about visa extensions, visa runs or visa renewal. My 3 months B3 visa expires on the 10th of October and I'm leaving Vietnam on November the 14th. I've asked my contact person for an extension and she told me it would cost 160USD/1month or 270USD/3months, which I think is just too expensive. I wanted to know if anybody has a good contact that could help me, or know an agency (if not in Hai Phong, maybe in Hanoi) where I can ask about visa extensions. Or if you have any experience on visa runs, I was thinking about doing one to Laos next week. Is it a problem to get a 3 months tourist visa at the vietnamese border on the way back? Fabian, we can help you, but give us some info: First where are you from?, when did you come to Vietnam? through Tan Son Nhat airport or Noi Bai airport? if you public detail info, we just exactly answer your question. Cause the cost for extension visa is not same between Northern and Southern, and if you stay here too long (ex 2013), you have to out, then could come back.
