  Hi ppl... I'm planning on building a dividing wall with walk through opening, similar to the dividing wall shown in the coverpic of this group separating living space and bedroom. I'm thinking about using regular ply, lined on both sides with traditional stretch lining carpet. I will need some kind of edge binding. Any suggestions on type of binding? Is there a T type binding available that has a lip on each side to go over edge of carpet? Also suggestions on thickness of ply and width of binding, considering it needs to be thick enough to bind ply and thickness of carpet. Thanks in advance.

  Peter,firstly thanks for posting this,tbh I had to go on my PC to see it clearer. It does look like an 'S' section rubber,therefore model specific. The rubber has obviously seen better days! I'm not sure if you could source this in the UK. If however you could get a section of the rubber to allow you to to see the profile,there's a company here called COH Baines. http://www.coh-baines.co.uk/ Their online catalogue has profiles in actual size you may be able to match it to. Failing that you might have to go through a supplier in the USA. There's a company called Steele Rubber might have what you're looking for. http://www.steelerubber.com/

  We tried seals from Coh Baines but could not get them fitted...they looked right but could not get them on no matter what we tried .....could be our technique!.ended up having to put old ones back in until we find the correct replacement. White internal strip from ebay looked right but the lip wad too shallow and does not give good coverage ...not very helpful am I! Sorry.
