Hi all, needing a bit of advice please :) I have started organising an informal safety awareness event involving the fire brigade, launceston voluntary first aid service and the local police which I just need to get past the Council to fully advertise but have a few niggles need help with. A: insurance - does anyone know where can get cheap public liability insurance? Its a one off event but seems like may have to pay out of own pocket and try to make it back... any ideas? B. Do you think 4-6pm next Friday is a suitable time/date as all have agreed this time but logistically thinking of lighting (currently planning as an outside event) and time to organise I am wondering if need to plan for the new year and finally C. Would you organise just this (and a raffle or something) or maybe add some local craft stalls to encourage more people to visit? Hubby thinks may take away from it being a safety event? Any ideas / advice / offers of help more than welcome!
