Simpson Veterinary Services is a progressive mixed animal veterinary practice. We are conveniently located less than one-half mile off the I-75, Walton-Verona exit #175. Dr. Simpson and his trained staff provide state-of-the-art veterinary medicine care at an economically based price. Kayla N. asked:Recently our 9 year old lab mix has been sick. She hadn't been acting right so we took her to the Hebron Animal Clinic, where she has been going since she was 6 weeks. They told us she had a fever of 106, proceeded to do blood work and a urinalysis. They told us she has a lower than normal white blood cell count but they don't know what's wrong with her. They gave us an antibiotic for a possible bacterial infection, pain pill for arthritis/fever, and a pill to help reduce acid production in her stomach. She's drinking plenty of water, but doesn't eat much at all anymore and anyone with a lab knows they love food. What I'm looking for today, is anyone with any advice and a new veterinarian recommendation.
