The Delta Bike Project envisions a world made healthier through the increase of people using bicycles for environmental, social, creative and practical purposes. We believe that cycling and its benefits should be made equally accessible to people from all walks of life. We see that the promotion of the social and educational aspects of cycling creates empowered individuals and communities. We see the intrinsic value cycling has for developing community, and we acknowledge that as our culture and infrastructure become more inclusive of bicycles, quality of life is enhanced for all.
Goals: - To promote the use of the bicycle as a legitimate form of urban transportation in Mobile, Alabama. - To foster a bicycle community respectful of all people. - To create an environment where bicycle knowledge is openly exchanged. - To empower individuals to be more self-sufficient with their bicycle transportation needs.
The Delta Bike Project is a nonprofit, tax-exempt charitable organization (tax identification number 47-1604986) under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Donations are tax-deductible as allowed by law.

We are at the corner of N. Warren and St. Francis St. Right near Wintzell's. We keep our Facebook page really up to date with information about our open shop hours, programs and community projects. https://www.facebook.com/deltabikeproject

If you want to learn for yourself, I would suggest going to delta bike project. Basically all of the shops in town are friendly and knowledgeable. I would say go to the one nearest your house so you can develop a relationship with them.
