  RIP has immediate openings for our Monday/Wednesday morning program. Take advantage. By the end of the first grading period, we'll have a waiting list again. Most of you know about how my experience at RIP changed the trajectory of my relationship with my son. An amazing program that is respectful of parents and the parent-child relationship. I recommend it for anyone struggling with how best to respond to their child's behavior.

  Hello friends and neighbors! One of my goals for the 1st quarter of 2013 is to do some volunteer work to help out my community. I have NEVER volunteered in my life, it's in exercise in me being a nicer and more giving person. But I need help - does anyone know where I can go / what I can do? I'd prefer to do something not associated with a religious organization. Even if maybe I can help out my neighbors? Any ideas? Thanks!

  congrats on your resolution: i'm a huge fan of volunteering myself, especially as a mentor and tutor. if i lived in OHV full-time, i'd be involved in these two charities, mainly because self-awareness/empowerment is awesome, hehe: http://www.thistlefarms.org/index.php/volunteer and http://www.ripnetwork.org/. a friend of mine volunteered at the latter in high school and always had good things to say of it... let us know what you choose!
