Real Estate has to be a passion for longevity as a Realtor. I love that look on people's face when I tell them we can sell their home or that we can help them to get lending after being told no, so many times. There are many Realtors, everyone knows someone. There are also many lawyers, doctors, mechanics, and contractors that you may know. Use the same scrutiny that you choose those professionals in choosing your agent. Are they looking out for your interests first? Are they skilled at negotiating on your behalf? Will they tell you the truth, no matter what it is?
