My daughter needs braces, but her insurance doesn't cover it and I'm currently not working. Any recommendations for a good orthodontist who takes payments? Please share your experiences, good and bad!
ARGHH!! Braces for both of them!?!? And neither quite qualifying for the state standard for insurance coverage (just one "minor" reason and they need two). Anyway - people must get second opinions for braces, right? We have been at Associates in Orthodontics. Any recommendations for a second opinion? It looks like Timberlane Dental Group is on the Bristol bus line.
Anyone know of a good Orthodontist that's is reasonable? My cousin is looking but they have no dental insurance..

http://www.smileschangelives.org/ and if she needs work done prior, Children's Dental Services does work on basic sliding fee scale based on income/ household size. They are based out of Minneapolis but travel to many different sites to make it convienant for parents to get their kids in. They are great!

Hey cuz check out this site and see if you qualify. A friend of mine sent out an application for her 12 year old daughter and she was approved. The cost of dental care is insane! Here's the site smileschangelives.org
Can anyone recommend a good Ortho that doesn't require selling an organ?
Jen S. replied:
* alert - smileschangelives.org. Iam currently praying for approval. It is essentially a $30 app fee for a private subsidized full Ortho treatment for $600. There are several reputable orthodontists in Kirkland involved in this program. Please check out! Xoxo
