I'm looking to add to my orange, fig and lemons with some more fruit trees. I was thinking about an apple, banana and a cherry. Can anyone recommend a good place to buy from locally ?

If you have time, check the sustainable gardening resources section of the AFC directory for other folks to ask...www.acadianafoodcircle.org
Good morning, moving back to Acadiana at the end of the month and am looking for a CSA program but finding none listed on web searches. Can anyone recommend one. Thank you in advance.

There are several CSAs in the area, depending on what you're looking for. Earthshare has a CSA, but the waiting list is closed. Gotreaux Family Farms and Mark and Mary's City Farm offer two a year (both pesticide free). Robin Farms and Helping Hands/Bayou Farm (pesticide free) both recently offered their first CSAs and may do a second one this year. I believe Market Basket of Youngsville has also offered them in previous years. Check out the CSA section in the local foods directory at www.acadianafoodcircle.org for the contact information.
