  They suggest notaries because we are good at paying attention to details, not because the document requires a notary (it doesn't). Search for a local notary who advertises "loan signings". They do charge anywhere from $20 to $50 for completing the form. I charge on the higher end since I have to wait for payment. If I am paid upfront, I charge much less. You can also search 123 notary.com or notarycafe.com for someone local.

  B...list yourself on notaryrotary.com. pay for yhe annual membership. And also list yourselg on notarycafe.com. both memberships are inexpensive. But lenders will and people will find you on there and call on you to notarize docs
