About us
Our general practice (doctor's office), well located at the Dejvická metro, provides high quality primary healthcare together with physiotherapy and psychotherapy. Newly refurbished premises offer a pleasant environment in which a well-qualified small team of doctors and nurses work to serve you. We take bookings on both weekday mornings and evenings as part of our standard service, and provide a unique online appointment system. You can also order a repeat prescription or make your initial registration with us online. Should you need to wait to see a doctor on a first-come, first-serve basis (for acute patients), free wifi and a kids corner are available to make your stay more pleasant and productive. (Please note however that we cannot provide care for children under the age of 16.) We have contracts with all the public health insurance companies in the Czech Republic (including cover for holders of EHIC cards) and also provide care on a purely private basis. The surgery is a teaching practice for the First Medical Faculty of Charles University in Prague and you may therefore meet students during your consultations here. You are however under no obligation to enable their presence, should you not wish to. It is also accredited for training of young doctors, who typically leave us after gaining their full professional qualifications. We support various charitable projects. Our doctors speak English, Italian, Czech, Slovak and some Russian.
So... If you are non-EU and had to go to a doctor, and insurance lapsed, and know you'll be paying.... Any suggestions? Basically, I might have a small infection and may need a prescription...is there a clinic to recommend?

English-speaking doctor for someone without health insurance?
Hey there, I'm looking for some medical recommendations. My boyfriend is here visiting me long-term and has had what we think is a sinus infection and needs a prescription. He doesn't have health insurance; is there an affordable English-speaking doctor or clinic that doesn't require health insurance? Thanks so much!
Hi All, Can anyone recommend a good English speaking doc I can go to for a general check up/ physical exam, if they take VZP great though I do not mind paying for this as well as long as they do not charge enough to give me a heart attack :D thanks in advance

I go here: http://mudrlagrange.cz/doctors-office-mudr-stepanka-lagrange/ - very reasonable prices and takes VZP. I would also recommend here: http://www.young.co.cz/
Can anyone recommend a doctor in the center who takes PVZP (preferably also with some English)?
I was sent a list by the customer service line...but it doesn't seem like all the doctors listed actually accept my insurance.
For example, Sante and Mediconet are on the list, but I know both are private medical facilities. Does that make a difference?

Someone that speaks English and is preferably around Dejvice/Bubenec area?
