  I know you're asking about shelters, but ELCFV.org can help with daycare when she finds a job or if she goes to college. They also may be able to help with diapers until she gets on her feet. Never hurts to have extra resources. Good luck to your friend & her baby💝

  You can apply by going to elcfv.org If you go to the office you're still applying online I would recommend in this area.. Emmaus, Joyful Noise or river City church Emmaus is the only one with full day wrap out of those 3

  Go to the Flagler Volusia early learning coalition online and fill out vpk application. We have used joyful noise in debary on highbanks for 3 years and it's just simply incredible. Low student to teacher ratio and the teachers are so wonderful.

  You can do the application on line for the VPK. It is through DCF and the Early Learning Coalition. Or if you need help you can call the office and make an appointment to talk to someone. The office is next to the Wendy's on woodland, before you get to downtown DeLand. I don't believe it income based, I do know it is first come first serve.

  You only need to find a school you like that offers vpk, make sure they have an opening and go on early learning coalitions website to apply than they email u a voucher to bring to your school of choice 😉

  www.elcfv.org The Early Learning Coalition should have a list of daycare providers that accept infants so young. They will also post the "scores" of how the daycare is run, cleanliness, etc. Hopefully this helps
