Does anyone know of a good dog trainer/obedience school in the area?

I went Jo at Petsmart for Beginners training and the dogs all loved her and listened to her, and I liked her. I am going to try to get her to do individual training soon because I don't really care about all the stuff they teach in the advanced courses just some of it and I want things they don't train. My co-worker took her 3 dogs to MADOC and she said they were very mean to her dogs and she stopped going. She as well as another co-worker had found a good trainer to do individual trainings, but she just moved to FL.

The folks at madoc don't play. They're very serious about their training since many of the dogs they train are either service dogs or in training to be certified therapy dogs. They're very reasonably priced and provide a very structured program to train both the dog and the owner. However, I can see how it might be a bit much for the average dog owner to handle. They're the real deal though.
