I am looking for a place to get my 2 kittens spayed. My vet quoted $440 each and that is way out of my price range. Anyone know of any clinics coming up that are good?

Looking for a clinic/service to get an approximately 5 year old cat spayed. I already know the prices at all the local vets and am hoping for a different option.
Where would you take a stray kitten that needs medical treatment near Lewes? Retired friend found one. She lives on Social Security and cannot afford a pricey Vet but doesn't want this kitten to die. She plans to keep the kitten~ if it survives. Suggestions PLEASE.

We've used them a couple of times (for animals that were dumped on us or otherwise unexpected), and I think they're an excellent alternative for people who can't afford regular vet prices. They will also, btw, give basic vaccines and/or microchip the animal at very low cost if you have it done along with the surgery. Similar to the PA SPCA, you may need to leave a message and have them call you back. Also, as a point of note, don't forget that when you're quoted a price for spaying, it's for dogs that aren't in heat, pregnant, or hugely obese.... all of those conditions will cost extra no matter where you go. http://www.delspca.org/spay-neuter/
Does anyone know of a low cost spay/neuter clinic for DOGS in the Rehoboth area? Am considering an adoption from a NC rescue, and they are asking about having the spay done here.....

Each of the SPCAs and some other large rescues like Faithful Friends or the Delaware Humane Society. typically have a monthly low cost vaccine and S/N event. Check their websites. Here's a link: http://www.delspca.org/spay-neuter/
