  I'm thinking of getting a red roof. I had not thought about color much but the roofer came by with some samples and said I needed to choose. I don't know why, but he recommend a gray or a gray with yellow in it or a gray with brown in it. But there are other colors in the samples and I like red generally. Is there a drawback to a red roof?
