  Sue Ben-senyor-senyor do NOT abandon your friend's bike. Its a common technique for stealing bikes. Stand there, take photos, call urbane cyclist 416 979 9733, get the phone number of Andrew who has a mobile bike lock cutting service. Whatever you do do not leave the bike alone. Andrew will cut off the interloper lock for you.

  Do you really ride in Manila? I was there this year. Crazy traffic. In Toronto I normally buy parts from Mountain Equipment Co-Op (mec.ca) and Urbane Cyclist (ucycle.com). Bring the NJS frame with you.

  Bikes on Wheels is fine. [Curbside Cycle](http://www.curbside.on.ca/) is also acceptable. But they've got nothing on [Urbane Cyclist](http://ucycle.com/) for parts and brands selection, and consistency of service, in my experience. Particularly if you've got the money to spend on good parts (rather than buying the cheapest available and hoping for the best), Urbane just tends to have better brands and better parts, as well as a larger selection.
