  Has anyone tried the medication Buspar for their head pain? I've had daily head/facial pain that came on 2 years ago. I've been seeing a Neurologist at a big name headache clinic, but after almost 2 years I'm starting to look for a new doctor since she seems to be running out of ideas. I've been on many anti-convulsants, SSRI's, muscle relaxers..etc. I do suffer from some anxiety but my biggest issue is the chronic pain. I couldn't find much information about Buspar and head pain control. Does anyone have any experience with it they could share?

  My daughter was a patient at the Diamond Headache Clinic in Chicago. They continually diagnosed her 24/7 headache as migraine w/wo aura. The diagnosis was never fully explained, meds tried, inpatient therapy, biofeedback, among other things. It turned out she had neuralgia. They disputed this saying it must stem from migraine. The neuralgia diagnosis was determined at Northwestern Memorial in Chicago. Unfortunately, treatment was more nasty meds. But the diagnosis led us to nerve decompression surgery. After 2 surgeries, we got our daughter back! Www.mydaughtersheadache.com
