About us
I often get asked, "What does the 57 mean?" Well, it has very special meaning to me. It is the brand that my husband and I own. It was a part of his family many generations ago and through the generosity of a very good friend, was returned to us a few years back. When I started looking at names for my business, I knew that I wanted to incorporate our family roots into the name. Hence the name, Photo57 by Sarah. It has a catchy ring to it, don't you think?
I am a down to earth, deep ties to my roots, country girl and a Christian. Family means the world to me and I love capturing those special family memories with my camera. I am also blessed to live in beautiful south-western Montana where all I have to do is walk outside for inspiration. I will take my camera anywhere with me to capture the beauty around me. It is not uncommon for me to pack my camera with me as I scale rock slides, climb trees, ride my horse on cattle drives, or race down the ski hill, just in case something beautiful or amazing presents itself!
A few years ago, I became blessed to become a stay at home mom, but I needed a hobby to keep me in touch with the "grown-up" world. Photography was that answer. I am so thankful to have been given the talents that I have and I enjoy every opportunity I am given to share that with others by helping to capture in time memories that they can cherish for years to come.
