  Avoid anyone affiliated with the California Naturopathic Doctors Assoc. (http://www.calnd.org/). They're allopaths in naturopathic clothing. They have a nasty habit of advocating for legislation that impairs patient rights. They don't seem to recognize a patient's natural right to voluntary, informed consent. They are shills for BigPharma. Avoid.
