Hi, could anyone recommend a good orthopedist in the area who works with runners? Thanks in advance!
Gina T. replied:
Dr Owens...has an office in Teaneck (201-353-9000), Englewood(201-608-0100) and Closter(201-784-6800). He and Dr Bevilacqua are excellent. If you are looking for a sports med doc to help with recovery go to Dr Jan (973-968-4120)...he is over on the border of hasbrouck heights and hackensack but his recovery techniques and therapy are top notch and worth the trip.

dr. owens (he has run over 50 marathons) - Closter and Teaneck office - and his podiatrist Dr. Bevilacqua - they are North Jersey Orthopedic Specialists http://www.njorthopedics.com
can anyone recommend a good orthopedist? my elbow is fucked up.. thanks
Michael B. replied:
I went to Dr. Kwak first for my shoulder (rotator cuff) - you could find his info at http://www.njorthopedics.com/ or https://www.facebook.com/NJOrthopedics But, when he told me I needed surgery and I was in denial, I went for a second opinion to Dr. Frank Alberta - you could find his information at http://www.njorthoclinic.com/ or https://www.facebook.com/njorthoclinic who ended up doing my surgery. I know they both do shoulders and knees and could refer you if they can't help you with your elbow. Just check with your insurance before you do anything. Good luck.
Need a recommendation for a good orthopedist (Knee) in Bergen County. Looking to get a second opinion!
Gregory T. replied:
Just recently I've been seeing Dr. Archer in Teaneck for a problem with my arm. I'm not sure if he's a knee specialist, but he's part of a highly-regarded practice that has an associated physical therapy center right at the office. http://www.njorthopedics.com/
