If you're like me and a lot of my photog friends, you are addicted to photography props and can't resist the urge to buy new props every chance you get! I know the story...what started as a couple hats and a few headbands has now turned into shelves and drawers full of baby hats, headbands, wraps, cocoons, leggings, vintage wooden crates, baskets and suitcases – the list goes on and on!!!!

I know a lot of photographers don’t like to use the same props for too many sessions and like to change things up every now and then. So, what to do with those old props? Wouldn’t it be great if there was a place you could sell your USED props to other photographers? (Then use that money to update your prop stash by buying more!! HA!)

Well, now there is!! Welcome to The Photo Prop Consignment Shop!

PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR RULES OF THIS PAGE:

- First and foremost, please be nice and honor your commitment to buy or sell. :)

- The Photo Prop Consignment Shop is a place for photographers to offer for sale their gently USED props/vintage items to other photographers at used prices. Do not post any new, handmade goods that you would sell on your own website, Etsy store, etc. Also, please do not post links to your personal websites, Etsy stores, etc.

- List items for sale by posting a photo on The Photo Prop Consignment Shop wall. Please do not post a link to another page or website where your props are for sale (including posting a link to an album in your facebook page)

- Please pay/ship in a timely manner. Once you post ‘SOLD’ with your paypal email, you are obligated to buy that item. Shipping time should never exceed five business days. Please contact an admin via the “Contact” button if you encounter a non-payer or non-shipper.

- Please no spamming anywhere on The Photo Prop Consignment Shop page. Spammers will be banned immediately.

- If you have any suggestions as to how we could make this page better, please let us know! :)

Occasionally we will see sellers post something like “I have a bunch of hats/headbands/props/etc….post your email and I will send pics!” or “Cleaning out my prop closet, email me for pics name@wahtever.com” We recommend posting the items on the wall instead of through emails for a couple reasons:

1) you wont have to bother with trying to email multiple people every time someone leaves their email
2) You post the items once to the PPCS wall and over 4000 people get to see them versus the couple people who happen to message you for photos of the items
3) a LOT of people don’t like to bother with requesting photos over email as it is much easier to view all the items for sale at one time in the PPCS Wall Photo album so you are really narrowing down your buying audience by doing it this way.
4) isn’t it easier to just check the photos in the PPCS album to see who wants to buy your items instead of trying to sort through emails, etc?
5) it is easier for us to keep track of items being exchanged via this FB page which we can then help you with any problems you may encounter during the selling/buying process. If it’s all done over your email we have no way of knowing what is going on with the transactions. show more
