Merci has been a personal trainer dedicated to coaching healthy living through exercise and nutrition since 1991. She received her bachelor’s degree in Movement and Sports Science at Purdue University. In 2012 Merci received her 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training certification from YogaWorks with a focus on Iyengar and Ashtanga yoga techniques.
Through all of the fads and trends that she has seen, Merci has remained consistent in promoting a balanced approach to fitness. The training programs she develops and yoga classes she teaches provide balance both physically and mentally through the connection of mind, body and spirit.
Merci’s instructional focus is to give clients and students a well-balanced, safety conscious program that is both challenging and approachable. By creating an environment that allows individuals to feel at ease, her clients and students are encouraged to reach their fitness, health and wellness goals.
